The Story of the Indomitable Entrepreneur
Brijmohan Lall's inspiration to enter the two-wheeler world came
from a desire to provide the cheapest form of transport for the
poorest of the poor. Post-partition, Brijmohan Lall Munjal and
his brothers relocated to Ludhiana. They had to begin from scratch.
They set up as manufacturers of bicycle components. From then
on there was no looking back. In typically modest manner, B.M.
Munjal accords a great deal of the credit for his success to his
family and his team.
He traversed the road to success following these principles:

Mr Yogesh Munjal, the Managing Director

corporate world and an active participant in the affairs
of and in the man-material management of Hero Group companies. |

Mr Munjal has affiliations with leading associations like, Confederation
of Indian Industry (CII), Automotive Component Association of India,
Electronic Research and Development Institute, State Apprentice
Board, Award Panel for Haryana Safety Council and Indian, Indian
Institute of Public Administration, Indian National Suggestion Scheme's
Association, PHD Chamber of Commerce, All India management Institute
and National safety Council, just to name a few. Mr Munjal has been
recently awarded with the Best Client Award from the Leadership
Management Institute, USA, at their 40th Annual Conference.

LIMITED has carved a niche in aluminium die casting in Asia
with an installed capacity of 15,000 MT per annum. |

Mr. Sunil Kant Munjal, Managing Director
Mr. Sunil Kant Munjal, the second generation
entrepreneur of the Munjal family is a senior member of
the Hero Group. Mr S.K. Munjal is the Managing Director
and CEO of Hero Cycles Limited CR Division, Managing Director
of Hero Corporate Service Limited and a Director on the
boards of Hero Briggs & Stratton, Sunbeam |

Castings, Hero Honda Motors Limited and Bank of India, Steel Strips
Wheels Limited, amongst others. He is also the chairman for the
Study Group of Skill Development, Training & Workers Education
constituted by the National Commission on Labour. He has also been
involved in several industry forums, including the Confederation
of Indian Industries (CII) Economic Affairs Committee, the Narasimham
Committee on banking and financial sector reforms. He is the Vice
President, CII. Mr Munjal is a Governing Body member of All India
Management Association (AIMA) and visiting faculty for lectures
on Business Studies and Holistic Management Practices at a number
of companies and B-schools.

Renu Munjal
Mrs. Renu Munjal is the Director of
Hero Honda Finlease Ltd.- a Company promoted by hero Honda
Motors Limited. She is the wife of late Mr. Raman Kant Munjal,
who was the founder Managing Director of Hero Honda Motors
Limited. |

Mrs. Renu Munjal belongs to a business family and was initiated
into business at a fairly young age. After getting married to Mr.
Raman Kant Munjal, and more so after the formation of Hero Honda
Motors Limited, she actively got involved with the social and cultural
activities undertaken by the company. She was the Executive Director
of Hero Honda Motors Limited for about 3 years before taking over
Hero Honda Finlease Limited as a whole time Director.
In addition to managing the affairs of the company that she heads,
she is actively involved in the management of a school, and a vocational
training center that Hero Honda Motors Limited is managing. She
is, also, involved in the development of a major multi-activity
centre in Dharuhera.

Rahul Munjal
Rahul Munjal is the Chief Executive
Officer of Easy Bill Pvt. Ltd.
Easy Bill is a venture of the Hero Group, the world's largest
manufacturers of two wheelers. Hero, a name synonymous with
two wheelers in India is a multi-unit, multi-product, geographically

diversified Group of companies. Through fully integrated operations,
the Munjals roll their own steel, make critical components such
as free wheels for their bicycles, and have the foresight to simultaneously
diversify into myriad ventures, like product designing, IT enabled
services and finance, just to name a few.
With a degree in Economics, from the University of Rochester, USA,
Rahul has experience in various aspects of business. He has done
his stints in Manufacturing and Sales & Marketing at the Honda
Motorcycles, USA and HLL, India. Rahul belongs to the third generation
in the Munjal family headed by Mr. Brij Mohan Lall Munjal. Rahul
is the son of late Shri Raman Kant Munjal, great corporate visionary
and the founder Managing Director of Hero Honda Motors Ltd. Today,
Hero Honda is one of the country's best performing and best managed
companies.
