E-mitra ties up with Easy Bill to launch
Consumer Service Centers


Jaipur, October 5, 2005: As a part of the government of Rajasthan’s initiative to offer better customer service and facilities, the District E-mitra society has joined hands with Easy Bill Limited, a Hero Group Company that specializes in bill collections.
Easy Bill operates through a unique neighborhood retail network in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata and Bangalore. The joint initiative promises to make the lives of people of Jaipur more convenient by opening a number of ‘Consumer Service Centres’ where customers can make payments for electricity, water, telephone, mobile bills, house taxes, trade license fees and a host of other utility services. In addition, the centers will also act as nodal points for distribution of various kinds of certificates, licenses and other documents to the citizens. With Easy Bill’s focused consumer centric services, the people of Jaipur will soon experience the convenience of a bouquet of helpful services right at their door step. The district’s e-governance initiative is truly revolutionary and is all set to set to change the current perception of public services and facilities.

Understanding the customer’s dire need for convenient and reliable utility bill payment services, Easy Bill collection counters are typically located at friendly neighborhood stores i.e. a Kiryana store, medical store or a communication store. A customer can now walk into any of the Easy Bill outlets where the retailer will accept the payment towards a utility bill, which can be made either by cash or cheque and issue an instant electronic receipt for the same.

Mr. Rajeshwar Singh, District Collector and Chairman, District e-governance society said, “The tie-up with Easy Bill is to offer better consumer convenience to the people of Jaipur. The consumer will truly experience the benefit of a one-stop service center that will provide a host of services under one roof. More over the centers will give consumers easy accessibility, friendly ambience, & the security of an instant electronic receipt generation”
