Hero's bill collection services

Foraying into the retail- based services sector with the launch mass-scale bill collection network through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Easy Bill Pvt. Ltd., the Rs 8,400 crore Hero group today said it would pump in Rs 85 crores in the new business during the fiscal.

The vision of Easy Bill is to create a brand, which offers consumer convenience in bill payments and reselling communication services using e-transaction-oriented prodicts, Easy Bill CEO, Rahul Munjal. It will enable consumers to pay utility bills selected retail shops acting as a one-stop collection point for all types of bill payments. In the first year, 2500 retailers would be roped in to become Easy Bill collection points, he added.- UNI
